Yeah, I finally have a place in the SfI (Swedish for Immigrants)-course. Noe I will have at least 5 hours per week free Swedish lessons. I hope it will make me able to speak fluently pretty soon. Today one of my classmates and one of our teachers just decided to start a study group, which will also be kind of a research group. My teacher works on fishery in the Baltic sea. It could be that we have to do interviews with fisher(wo)men from a Swedish island (Gotland) - in Swedish. that means for me - studying, studying, studying.
The only problem with my SfI course is that it is pretty far away from everything. In the middle of the industrial zone of Uppsala, and the weather is not getting better. Did tell that they are already setting up the ice-skating ground in the uni-stadium? Probably they keep it frozen due to some electrical input. But they wouldn't set it up, if it would consume to much energy, would they? Yes it is cold and I really need new gloves.
Apart from that there is not happening anything very exciting at the moment. I am cycling between school, library and Kalmar Nation back and forth. Those are my principal points of reference. Ohh I forgot, now it will also be the industrial zone of Uppsala. I'll spend four nights a week there, as I also have my Capoeira classes (which I'm now taking two times a week) there. I'll be ironwoman if I should ever leave this city.
